Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments for new clients, ensuring an understanding of their trauma history and mental health status.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, focusing on strategies that promote trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively assist clients in processing their trauma.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that help patients formulate coping strategies, engage in self-discovery, and promote emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care that addresses both mental and physical health concerns.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering specific trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of client needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and relevant computer applications to document patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
