Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Core Healing Counseling, you will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related issues. Emphasizing a trauma-informed care approach, we aim to provide a safe space for healing and support for individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields is required.

• Strong knowledge of diverse mental health issues, including those specific to hospital settings, with experience in individual and group therapies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport with patients and fostering teamwork with a multi-disciplinary medical community.
