Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including thorough interviews to document each client’s history and presenting concerns.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the diverse needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities and techniques tailored to client needs.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure efficacy and responsiveness.

• Engage in ongoing collaborations with other mental health specialists and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes.

• Provide regular follow-ups with clients discharged from inpatient care and coordinate post-treatment continuing support.
\n
• Educate clients and their family members about mental health challenges and strategies to manage conditions effectively.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records, utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR for documentation and communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele including individuals facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction disorders, and trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated interpersonal abilities that facilitate rapport-building with clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for maintaining client documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting.

• Familiarity with best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Experience managing clients with co-occurring physical health issues and addiction disorders.
\n
• Deep understanding of the effects of pharmacological treatments on mental health.
\n
• Ability to guide clients and their families through the complexities of mental health recovery.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
