Job Description
Position Overview\n
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic telehealth practice based in Culpeper, Virginia. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of clients facing mental health challenges. As a vital member of our outpatient team, you will deliver compassionate care and therapeutic support to individuals seeking recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
About the Organization\nAt Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on offering patients comprehensive psychiatric care that emphasizes a holistic approach to mental health treatment. Our outpatient practice specializes in addressing a wide range of mental health conditions, with a focus on eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Our evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), enable our therapists to tailor their interventions precisely to the needs of each client.
Work Environment\nThis role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work schedule of regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. By leveraging advanced telehealth technologies, you will connect with clients in a supportive and therapeutic online setting, ensuring that geographic barriers do not impede access to quality mental health care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough and individualized assessments to evaluate each client’s symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic view of their treatment needs. \n
- Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique goals for recovery, aligning with evidence-based therapeutic modalities appropriate to their specific challenges. \n
- Facilitate therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and ACT to assist clients in overcoming distorted beliefs related to body image, self-esteem, and food. \n
- Help clients cultivate healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation skills, along with techniques to combat disordered eating behaviors. \n
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to enhance care continuity, aligning interventions with each client's holistic needs throughout their recovery journey. \n
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families to foster understanding of eating disorders, thus enhancing the recovery-supportive environment. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development through team meetings, case conferences, and workshops to refine clinical skills and stay informed on best practices in eating disorder treatment. \n
The primary focus of this role will be serving individuals grappling with eating disorders, along with those facing co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the complexities of their mental health challenges, supporting their journey toward sustainable recovery and improved well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia. \n
- Strong background in evidence-based therapies suited for treating eating disorders, specifically CBT, DBT, and ACT. \n
- Adept understanding of the multifaceted nature of eating disorders and associated co-occurring conditions. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with a diverse client population. \n
Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, ideally working with individuals who have eating disorders. Experience in a telehealth setting is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits\n- \n
- Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and specialization. \n
- Comprehensive healthcare benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage to ensure the well-being of our team members. \n
- Access to a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to support your future financial stability. \n
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays to promote a healthy work-life balance. \n
- Professional liability insurance coverage for peace of mind as you support clients. \n
- Opportunities for continuous education and professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. \n
- A collaborative and supportive work culture that encourages professional growth and learning. \n
Joining Gotham Enterprises Ltd opens the door to numerous career growth opportunities. We actively cultivate an environment where our therapists can enhance their clinical skills, obtain additional certifications, and take on leadership roles within our organization as we expand our services.
Why Join Our Team\nBecome part of a passionate and dedicated team committed to transforming lives through mental health treatment. Your work will play an indispensable part in fostering healing and recovery in our community.
