Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance that promotes both personal and professional satisfaction. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and formulate personalized treatment strategies, ensuring that each client receives care tailored to their specific situation.

• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively address clients' mental health challenges.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that provide valuable information on coping mechanisms and foster community among participants.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide cohesive and integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.

• Educate clients on mental health issues, outlining available treatment options and community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Actively participate in professional development through case consultations and team meetings, staying informed about the latest trends and research in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Virginia.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a wide range of evidence-based treatment options to suit various client needs.

• Demonstrated skills in conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to clients with diverse backgrounds and challenges.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with an ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and familiar with computer applications to streamline administrative tasks.
