Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating each patient’s trauma history to guide effective treatment planning.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the development of resilience in patients.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, delivering impactful therapeutic interactions that assist patients in processing trauma and adopting coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during instances of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources to empower their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals who have experienced trauma in various forms. This includes survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events who may struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your position will involve not only providing therapy but also developing supportive relationships that create a therapeutic alliance critical for effective healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Colorado.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n
