Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment frameworks focusing on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping strategies, increased self-awareness, and tools for emotional healing.

• Coordinate care with other professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client's mental health needs.

• Provide timely crisis interventions and support for clients in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a swift response to their needs.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities, continuously updating knowledge on trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who are trauma survivors, specifically those dealing with PTSD and complex trauma-related issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong compassionate communication skills, with the ability to create a welcoming space for clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) management and relevant digital tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
