Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their experiences and foster healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for patients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to support their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records consistent with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact in their lives by providing quality mental health therapy that addresses their unique needs and fosters recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, empathetic approach to client care.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally focused on trauma and its treatment.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective resilience-building interventions.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions that promote healing.
\n
• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure or in high-stress situations.

• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
