Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate therapeutic strategies tailored to their needs.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth, with regular updates based on clients’ progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide impactful therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing interactive techniques to help clients process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care covering all aspects of a client’s mental health and well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response.

• Educate clients and families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to promote informed and proactive recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation according to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure that your clinical skills remain relevant and effective.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenging scenarios.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing trauma-focused therapies is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
