Freedom Empowerment Counseling Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated remote team. This full-time position focuses on empowering young individuals to lay the groundwork for both academic success and emotional well-being. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to our clients' success from the comfort of your home. Our work setting is primarily telehealth-based, enabling effective communication and service delivery for clients. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of mental health professionals, participating in regular virtual check-ins and team meetings to ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices.

• Maintain a consistent work schedule as established by your direct supervisor to ensure continuity of care.

• Implement directives and instructions promptly, adhering to established protocols to meet client needs.

• Keep your Oregon Drivers' License valid, ensuring you are prepared for any emergency situations that may arise.

• Maintain certification in CPR and First Aid to support client safety.
\n
• Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills while managing a full caseload effectively.
\n
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and emerging therapeutic techniques.

• Provide relevant information and assistance to address social or financial needs identified during sessions.
\n
• Utilize electronic medical records to document client progress, monitor treatment plans, and communicate effectively with other team members.
\n
• Engage in required meetings with enthusiasm, contributing to discussions on client care and team support.
\n
• Uphold and exemplify ethical standards consistent with professional codes of conduct and organizational policies.
\n

Your primary focus will be on working with young people from diverse backgrounds facing various emotional and behavioral challenges. You will provide individualized therapy aimed at fostering resilience, improving coping strategies, and enhancing overall mental well-being. By addressing specific client needs, you will play a vital role in facilitating positive outcomes in their academic and personal lives.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an independent mental health license in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
\n
• A strong ability to motivate clients and maintain enthusiasm in a dynamic work environment.
\n
• Demonstrated skills in prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed to maintain quality service in a high-volume caseload setting.

• Experience in providing telehealth services or remote counseling is highly preferred.
\n
• Previous work with youth populations is an advantage, especially in school settings or community organizations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
