Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide telehealth services that cater to patients in need from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. The flexibility of a remote setting not only enables a better work-life balance but also allows for innovative therapeutic techniques using digital platforms. Your work schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate various patient needs and time zones.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with a safe space to process trauma, learn adaptive coping strategies, and share experiences with peers.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless, integrated care experience for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and expertise in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices and methodologies.

• Remain updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy through continuing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including emotional, physical, and sexual trauma. Understanding the nuances of trauma-related disorders and the unique challenges that patients face is essential. Our approach is centered on creating a supportive and validating environment that empowers patients to express themselves and engage in their healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly with trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools required for remote therapy.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience is required, candidates with further expertise in trauma-focused care and proven success in therapeutic outcomes will be given preference. Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions remotely is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as comprehensive healthcare benefits, a retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions, and generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
