Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that evaluate the intricate trauma histories of clients, leading to informed and effective treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at aiding clients in their trauma recovery and enhancing their resilience.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), as well as facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Engage in urgent interventions, offering crisis support during trauma-related emergencies and ensuring client safety.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights on trauma-informed care.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and equip them with practical coping mechanisms to navigate their healing journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy through research and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse population ranging from adolescents to adults, providing the necessary guidance and support essential for their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders, including applicable treatment modalities that effectively address these challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, client-focused approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
