Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to contribute meaningfully from your own home while maintaining accessibility to our outpatient office resources. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although flexibility may be required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, which informs tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, collaborating with patients to establish achievable goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring practices are aligned with ongoing research.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that equip patients with coping strategies and frameworks for processing their trauma effectively.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic patient care focused on the integration of therapeutic modalities.

• Provide crisis intervention in trauma-related emergencies and offer compassionate support to patients during critical moments.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and additional resources, further empowering them in their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing professional development opportunities to ensure best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to continually refine therapeutic approaches and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals dealing with the long-term impacts of trauma, including survivors of various forms of abuse, neglect, and significant life-altering events. Our patients often present with complex diagnostics and benefit from tailored therapeutic interventions that require a nuanced understanding of trauma-related disorders.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and best practices in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that promote a compassionate, non-judgmental environment for patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a mental health setting with a focus on trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitively set between USD 90,000 and USD 110,000 annually, based on your experience and qualifications.
