Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and mental health status, enabling informed treatment planning.

• Design, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, employing the latest evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist clients in processing their trauma and building resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to create an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely support for patients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping resources, and available support systems to enhance their understanding and healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that aligns with legal guidelines and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and workshops to foster a culture of continuous improvement and trauma-informed care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work primarily with adults and adolescents coping with the psychological effects of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
