Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma backgrounds and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on fostering resilience and coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address patient needs.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating safe spaces for patients to process their trauma and share experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency support when dealing with trauma-related situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and explore available community and organizational resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with ethical and legal standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss treatment efficacy and share insights on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve your clinical skills and approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves trauma survivors who are navigating complex mental health issues stemming from their past experiences. Our client population includes individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and other trauma-related conditions. Your compassionate and informed support will play a pivotal role in aiding our patients' recovery journeys and overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
\n
• Ability to manage high-stress situations with poise and effectiveness.
\n
• Capable of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• More than two years of post-licensure therapy experience, particularly with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
