Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to eating disorders as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions, customizing treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation, fostering a collaborative environment where clients set realistic recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic sessions that challenge clients' distorted thoughts related to body image, food, and self-esteem, while encouraging them to adopt healthier perspectives and coping strategies.

• Assist clients in enhancing emotional regulation skills and developing healthy coping mechanisms to resist disordered eating behaviors.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the broader treatment team to ensure continuity of care and to address the holistic needs of clients.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, enhancing understanding of eating disorders and encouraging supportive environments for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including team meetings and case conferences, to refine clinical skills and stay abreast of advancements in eating disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is required.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.

• A thorough understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and the presence of co-occurring conditions.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with clients diagnosed with eating disorders or related mental health issues in a therapeutic capacity.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy, with familiarity in navigating technology during client sessions.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and specialization.
