Our organization operates primarily as an outpatient service, allowing the flexibility of remote work while also providing opportunities to meet clients in person as needed. Therapists generally work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account patients' cultural backgrounds and unique experiences, to inform the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of methodologies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and mindfulness strategies that resonate with individual patient needs.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family counseling that promote resilience, coping strategies, and personal growth among clients.

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver a comprehensive care experience for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention, employing de-escalation techniques and support strategies during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community support resources, fostering an understanding of the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.
