This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that is ideal for managing a healthy work-life balance. While our therapists spend much of their time working from home, they also have the opportunity to engage with colleagues through weekly treatment team meetings and virtual collaborations. Our outpatient office setup ensures that you have access to necessary resources and support from our passionate team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings and contribute to the establishment of treatment plans, ensuring that all clinical goals are communicated clearly among team members.

• Conduct utilization reviews with insurance companies by providing necessary clinical documentation that supports the authorization for services.
\n
• Maintain timely communication with clients' family members and loved ones, ensuring that inquiries are addressed within two hours during business hours and within 24 hours at all other times.
\n
• Collaborate closely with our Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding insurance authorizations and billing, facilitating smooth operational processes.
\n
• Initiate and oversee discharge planning from the very first day of patient admission, completing final discharge sessions to reinforce coping skills and ensure a seamless transition to external resources.
\n
• Manage crisis situations effectively, offering support to clients and staff, and ensuring all interactions uphold the highest standards of clinical quality.
\n
• Ensure all clinical documentation is accurately completed at the time of service, adhering to organizational protocols and legal requirements.
\n
• Build therapeutic rapport with patients by conducting thorough assessments, including evaluations of suicidality and risk factors.
\n
• Facilitate admission assessments for new patients with professionalism and warmth, while actively participating in outreach and educational program initiatives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).

• Strong capacity to effectively manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with large healthcare providers and support staff.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records, ensuring accurate and efficient management of client documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for email correspondence and clinical documentation.
