The Millennial Counseling Centre is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment\n

Our outpatient office emphasizes a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, fostering professional growth and promoting a culture of compassion. As this role offers remote work options, you will enjoy the balance of a flexible schedule while maintaining close connections with our dedicated multidisciplinary team. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' history and circumstances, leading to a customized treatment approach.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, coping techniques, and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma-related issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can safely process their trauma, share experiences, and cultivate coping strategies for emotional regulation.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for all patients, addressing physical and mental health needs.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related situations to stabilize clients and guide them toward suitable resources.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, supportive coping mechanisms, and community resources for continued support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that meets legal and ethical standards, ensuring proper patient care tracking and treatment continuity.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings and continuous professional development initiatives that prioritize trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will primarily be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with diverse populations, tailoring your therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs and life experiences of each client, ensuring they feel safe and understood.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed methodologies for treatment.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Proven experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions, showcasing a successful track record in helping patients navigate their recovery journeys.
