Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and relevant psychosocial context.

• Craft and execute tailored treatment plans that prioritize long-term trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions utilizing specific methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the integration of comprehensive patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely and appropriate assistance.

• Provide education to patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and management of the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with ethical and legal standards, enhancing the quality and continuity of care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve service delivery and stay informed about advancements in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients affected by varied forms of trauma, including but not limited to individuals struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and relevant therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology necessary for service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
