Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will work with a dynamic team dedicated to mental wellness while also having the flexibility to adjust your schedule based on the unique needs of patients. Your primary work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential for flexible scheduling. This environment promotes collaboration through regular team meetings and case consultations, ensuring each therapist maintains strong support and professional development throughout their tenure.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments of patients to thoroughly evaluate their trauma history and develop appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Create individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's circumstances.

• Administer therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Guide patients through the process of healing by helping them develop coping strategies and resilience skills, supporting both their mental and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care that meets the needs of all patients.

• Formulate crisis intervention plans and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster understanding and engagement.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in line with legal standards, ensuring that all patient records are up-to-date and compliant.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will support primarily consist of trauma survivors who are navigating complex emotional and psychological struggles. Our clients face a range of issues, including PTSD, complex trauma responses, and a variety of comorbid conditions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches to help diverse clients find healing and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specifically in trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

• Expertise in trauma-related disorders and a comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications required for documentation and administration.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in a trauma-focused therapeutic role will set applicants apart.
