Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that each evaluation is tailored to respect the unique background and experiences of each individual.

• Provide individual and family therapy that directly addresses identified needs and treatment goals, implementing therapeutic techniques that are adaptable to various client situations.

• Complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, in alignment with organizational policies.

• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to help clients maintain stability and effectively manage their mental health challenges.

• Create thorough discharge plans that assist clients in transitioning from therapy while maintaining their progress and well-being.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all current federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards of care.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your clinical competence, including participating in case consultations and agency meetings.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and complete mandatory training as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Tenet Mental Healthcare, you will work directly with a diverse population of clients who present with a variety of mental health challenges. This includes individuals and families navigating complex issues, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and more. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, trusting therapeutic space, promoting healing and growth through tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• A current license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of Georgia (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
