Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, determining their unique needs and suitable treatment modalities.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions focusing on various therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and coordinated care for our clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to assist in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation.

• Participate regularly in professional development and case consultations to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role centers around supporting individuals who have been affected by various forms of trauma, including childhood abuse, military combat, and significant life alterations resulting from traumatic events. Clients may present with complex and multifaceted mental health concerns that require specialized trauma-focused care. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and familiarity with trauma-related disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on compassion and a non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations while addressing clients' needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting the importance of this role in our organization.
