Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to determine each patient’s trauma history and specific needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on resilience and recovery from trauma, integrating psychological theories and evidence-based practices.

• Utilize established therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate effective therapy sessions aimed at guiding patients through their trauma experiences, assisting in coping strategy development, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies and case-related scenarios.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, adaptive coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes and share insights into trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and evolving best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve care delivered to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills with a focus on empathy, understanding, and non-judgment.

• The ability to maintain a composed demeanor in high-stress situations and support patients through crisis moments.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications related to therapy practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a specific focus on trauma and related interventions.

• Demonstrated experience working in a multidisciplinary treatment team is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
