Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique experiences and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate trauma recovery.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma, build resilience, and enhance coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of care for your patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, particularly during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to navigate their healing journey effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those suffering from PTSD and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Virginia.

• Strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities and a thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
