As part of our telehealth facility, you will engage with clients through secure video conferencing tools, providing accessible and effective mental health care from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to thoroughly understand patients' trauma history, enabling the formulation of appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on their path to trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through processes that promote coping skills, emotional regulation, and healing from traumatic experiences.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of the patient’s mental health needs.

• Offer crisis intervention strategies and support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them towards recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to discussions around trauma-informed care and sharing insights based on recent research and developments in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have faced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Providing care to this population requires a deep understanding of their unique challenges and the ability to promote healing in a trauma-informed manner.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a preference for candidates who have worked specifically with trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
