As a telehealth facility, our operations are fully virtual, providing you with the flexibility needed to facilitate your therapeutic work. You will utilize secure video conferencing platforms to conduct therapy sessions and engage with clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and determine the most suitable treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery tailored to meet each client's specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions that encourage healing, coping strategies, and personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals, ensuring cohesive care and support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, acting swiftly to offer necessary support and resources.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and communications in compliance with state laws and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team discussions aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy to integrate new methodologies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes adults and adolescents struggling with various trauma-related issues. Therapists will work closely with individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and other related mental health challenges. Your specialized knowledge in trauma will be instrumental in aiding clients as they work through their experiences to foster resilience and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and knowledge of trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to therapy, demonstrating a non-judgmental attitude.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapy interventions is preferred. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in delivering individual and group therapy in a virtual format will enhance success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
