This role allows you to operate fully remotely, leveraging telehealth technology to connect with clients throughout California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that pinpoint the individual needs and goals of clients entering treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.

• Lead individual counseling sessions utilizing strategies such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic modalities suited for addiction recovery.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that offer peer support and foster a sense of community among individuals in recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide integrated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing substance-related emergencies while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery pathways, and available community resources, enabling informed decision-making.

• Maintain diligent, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will primarily work with adults navigating the challenges of substance use disorders ranging from mild to severe cases. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in building therapeutic alliances and fostering an atmosphere conducive to recovery. You will work with diverse populations from various backgrounds, understanding that each individual’s journey to recovery is unique and requires a tailored approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy in the context of addiction treatment.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a non-judgmental and compassionate demeanor toward clients.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, facilitating smooth documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
