Safe Horizon Recovery Facility is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist with credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). This full-time position is primarily telehealth-based, allowing you the flexibility to provide vital mental health services to individuals dealing with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health conditions from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health and substance use issues during initial sessions and ongoing evaluations.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific therapeutic needs of each client, focusing on their relational and interpersonal dynamics.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their unique challenges and goals, regularly updating these plans as needed.

• Participate proactively in a multi-disciplinary team comprised of healthcare professionals, exchanging insights to enhance treatment plans and outcomes for clients.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and continuously monitor client progress to ensure optimal therapeutic interventions are employed.

• Document therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously, adhering to regulatory practices to ensure compliance with the Board of Behavioral Science and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals struggling with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. You will provide essential support and therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, helping them navigate their recovery journeys with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of a current, valid licensure in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent is mandatory.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a mental health setting, with demonstrated expertise in therapeutic practices.

• Experience or training in substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology-driven therapy practices.

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in diverse settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
