Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct detailed assessments to ascertain client needs, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect a person-centered, recovery-based approach.

• Implement and monitor individualized service plans, adjusting them based on continuous assessment and client feedback.

• Guide clients in developing essential skills such as coping strategies, problem-solving, and effective communication to enhance their everyday functioning.

• Educate clients about available community resources and serve as an advocate to facilitate their access to these services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with adults, age 18 and over, who may struggle with a variety of mental health conditions that impact their ability to function independently and contribute to their communities. Your expertise will help clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. By employing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care, you will address the unique challenges and experiences of each individual.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state license from the relevant board: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or a Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
\n
• The capability to deliver clinical services independently, as well as a clean disciplinary record on your license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical service experience, particularly in a community mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
