Work Environment\n

This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing our licensed therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own spaces. You will utilize telehealth technology to provide services, which has become an invaluable tool in today’s mental health landscape. While your primary schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility will be required based on client needs, ensuring that we are available to support our patients effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and emotional well-being, determining the most effective treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing overall resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide therapy sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their trauma, building coping mechanisms, and promoting pathways toward healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for all patients.
\n
• Deliver crisis intervention support in situations where patients experience acute trauma responses or emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and the available community resources and coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in line with ethical and legal standards, utilizing secure electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

We primarily serve adults who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our focus is on providing a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can explore their experiences and work towards healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid and current clinical license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant setting is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven experience utilizing trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a caring and empathetic approach to client interactions.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under stress, adapting to dynamic patient needs.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and digital therapy tools, ensuring efficient patient documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering evidence-based trauma therapy modalities is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
