Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine suitable treatment pathways.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that empower patients to process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies and offer ongoing support to patients during moments of distress.

• Educate patients and their loved ones about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, specifically in trauma-informed care.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficient delivery of trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• An ability to maintain professionalism and calm amidst potentially high-stress situations.

• Proven proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and communication.

• Capability to work effectively within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
