Key Responsibilities\n

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and healthy coping mechanisms that can empower recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s mental health are considered.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary patient population for this role includes individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are seeking professional help to navigate their recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapy.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
