Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and to inform treatment planning.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery and coping strategies.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate their trauma experiences and develop essential skills for resilience.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated and comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies to support patients in urgent need.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and empowering coping mechanisms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to violence, abuse, and other distressing life events. Our clientele often struggles with conditions such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression, necessitating a therapeutic approach that is sensitive to their unique experiences. The therapist will play a vital part in their recovery journey, building trust and providing the tools needed to foster emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-sensitive care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
