Work Environment\n

As a member of our remote telehealth team, you'll have the flexibility to conduct sessions from your preferred location. Our virtual setup enables our clinicians to maintain consistent communication and collaboration with fellow team members and patients, ensuring seamless care delivery. While traditional office hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some adjustments may be necessary to meet the varying needs of our clients, allowing for flexible scheduling in coordination with our team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on recovery from trauma, as well as resilience building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver effective counseling services.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing trauma and developing essential coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate care and resources are available.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary demographic includes individuals suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor at El Gloria, you will interact with a diverse range of clients, each with unique experiences and therapeutic needs. Your work will directly help these individuals navigate their trauma responses, overcome hurdles, and achieve better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado is essential for this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n
