Work Environment\n

This role will be remote, providing you with the flexibility to engage with your clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining professional accountability to our clinic's standards. While primarily remote, you will still have the chance to collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You'll participate in team meetings and consultations, contributing to an enriching and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and customize individualized treatment plans centered on trauma recovery, personal strengths, and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), for effective patient care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop adaptive coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to create a comprehensive and integrated care approach tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards to ensure quality care and compliance.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations, team training, and staying informed about the latest research in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, specifically targeting those experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse population ranging from children to adults, each with unique needs and experiences. Your role will be pivotal in creating a supportive and accommodating therapeutic environment that empowers patients toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A solid foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Ability to exhibit empathy and a non-judgmental approach while engaging with patients while maintaining composure in high-stress scenarios.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and effective interventions.
