Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds, trauma histories, and unique needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on recovery, resilience, and personal growth strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to drive positive patient outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma and equipping clients with effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and comprehensive support to clients.

• Respond to trauma-related crises, offering immediate intervention and assistance during critical situations.
\n
• Provide education to clients and families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping strategies to empower them outside of therapy sessions.

• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support range from children and adolescents to adults who have experienced varying degrees of trauma. Many clients present with complex trauma histories and require a sensitive, individualized approach to treatment. Your role is pivotal in creating a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages openness and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, ideally in a trauma-focused setting.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatments applicable to trauma recovery.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to care.

• A capacity to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations and crises.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and digital communication tools.

• A willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
