Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely from the comfort of your home, using our comprehensive telehealth platform to connect with patients. You will collaborate daily with a multidisciplinary team of professionals who are equally passionate about trauma-informed care. While our main working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient schedules, ensuring that we are readily available to address their needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify tailored treatment methodologies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care solutions for our patients, ensuring holistic support during their recovery journey.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support as needed during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and effective decision-making skills.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain thorough and secure documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality of all patient information.

• Actively participate in professional development, including case consultations and team meetings focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, continually elevating the standard of care provided to our patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for candidates experienced in trauma-related disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a compassionate and empathetic style.

Compensation and Benefits\n
