Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and current challenges, determining the most effective treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring high-quality clinical practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to express themselves, process their trauma, and adopt coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, sexual abuse, and military combat. Our patients are often in need of understanding, healing, and effective coping strategies. Your role will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery process, making meaningful impacts on their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.
