Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring alignment with each client's unique journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster community support among clients, guiding them in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring clients receive immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources, empowering them with knowledge and guidance.

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of client records.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with emerging research and developments in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client base includes individuals enduring the effects of trauma, particularly those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By understanding these clients' unique experiences, you will be instrumental in facilitating their recovery and reinforcing their resilience. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proven experience in trauma-focused treatments.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation.

• Ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Prior experience implementing interventions like EMDR and TF-CBT is highly desirable.
