This full-time remote position primarily focuses on providing specialized mental health care to individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment\n

This position operates within a telehealth framework, allowing for flexible work arrangements while providing critical mental health services. As a remote therapist, you will utilize a range of digital tools and platforms to connect with clients and maintain seamless communication with fellow professionals. We recognize the importance of work-life balance, and as such, offer a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while allowing some flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify pertinent treatment approaches.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that adhere to the principles of trauma recovery, focusing on building resilience and promoting emotional health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients to process trauma, enhance coping mechanisms, and advance their healing journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a cohesive approach to each patient's care, enabling integrated and holistic treatment.

• Provide immediate crisis support during trauma-related emergencies, reinforcing our commitment to patient safety and well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to foster informed support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance our collective approach to trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest quality of care is provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, focusing on fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers patients to confront and address their experiences. The role aims to support a diverse client population, including those facing PTSD, complex trauma, and related psychological challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering trauma-focused therapy and interventions.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling a compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
