Work Environment\n

This remote position is designed for professionals who excel in providing empathetic care through telehealth platforms. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health professionals while maintaining a flexible work schedule that accommodates both your needs and those of your clients. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential for necessary flexibility based on client availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to effectively evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with a supportive space to work through trauma, enhance coping strategies, and engage in personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, addressing both mental and physical health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients during times of trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and integrity in patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with survivors of trauma, including those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. A deep understanding of these issues and a genuine commitment to empowering clients through challenging emotional experiences are essential. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• A solid foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a passion for resilience-building approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• An ability to remain calm, composed, and centered in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with computer applications relevant to telehealth services.

• A willingness to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, as well as staying abreast of evolving best practices in trauma-informed care. Exposure to working in a telehealth setting will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
