Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform trauma-informed assessments to meticulously evaluate the mental health and trauma histories of your clients.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide effective treatment.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions encompassing various therapeutic strategies to support clients in processing their trauma experiences and learning coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals, to deliver holistic care that addresses all facets of a client’s well-being.

• Respond to and manage crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to document client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development programs focused on trauma-informed care principles.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with include trauma survivors facing a wide range of challenges, including PTSD, complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona is required.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and awareness of trauma-related disorders.

• Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based trauma-focused therapy techniques, combined with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with clients during vulnerable moments.

• Strong organizational skills, including proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with various digital tools.

• Capacity to remain composed in high-pressure situations, ensuring adequate support for clients in crisis.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, strong candidates with unique perspectives or specific trauma-focused therapy training will also be considered. Experience in group therapy settings is advantageous, as is any prior work involving complex trauma populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
