Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, facilitating an understanding of each patient’s trauma history to inform individualized treatment.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively address the needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to process trauma, explore coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care.

• Provide critical crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to safeguard client well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential for this role.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health, specializing in trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
