Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed patient histories and establish individualized treatment protocols.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with coping strategies, promoting emotional processing, and fostering community support.

• Engage in collaborative care efforts with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic support for your clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress due to trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient encounters and progress in accordance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma and are dealing with associated disorders such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse client base, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the varied needs of those seeking support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, along with expertise in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver trauma-focused interventions effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a non-judgmental and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, your passion for helping individuals navigate their trauma recovery will be the main driver of your success in this role. Compensation and Benefits\n
