We maintain a flexible work schedule, primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility expected based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the patient's trauma history, determining tailored therapeutic approaches.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients effectively.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop constructive coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure patients receive integrated and comprehensive care throughout their treatment journey.

• Provide critical crisis intervention and support to clients during trauma-related emergencies to ensure their safety and emotional well-being.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources for support.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards to ensure compliance and quality of care.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to the team's professional development focused on trauma-informed care principles.

• Stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of complex trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders. Your expertise and compassionate approach will play a pivotal role in creating a safe and supportive environment, guiding patients through their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professionalism in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapies is preferred.

• Experience in both individual and group therapy settings is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
