Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that accommodates both our therapists and the clients we serve. While you will primarily work from home, we maintain a strong collaborative team culture through regular virtual meetings and consultations. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that thoughtfully evaluate each patient's trauma history to determine appropriate treatment methods.

• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate individualized treatment plans that are specifically tailored to support trauma recovery and foster resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively guide therapy sessions.

• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences, build coping strategies, and facilitate healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide essential crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, while ensuring that patients feel secure and understood.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to support their healing journey.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in case consultations and ongoing professional development focused on innovative trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge in this field.

Our clinic primarily serves individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes adults navigating the complexities of PTSD, children dealing with the aftermath of adverse experiences, and families seeking to heal together. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed modalities, and resilience-building techniques is essential.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions as a key component of your practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a compassionate, non-judgmental approach is crucial.

• A proven ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications is necessary for effective documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
