This role offers flexibility to work remotely, while also utilizing our outpatient office in Edison. The position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential adjustments to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments that include evaluating clients’ trauma histories and designing tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling clients to effectively process trauma and cultivate essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care for our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering essential support to those in acute distress.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms to empower their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to all legal and ethical regulations.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment plans and stay aligned with best practices in trauma care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
