Work Environment\n

This opportunity offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, ensuring that you can provide your vital services from your own home while maintaining the necessary clinical ties with our outpatient office in Jersey City, New Jersey. Although the majority of your work can be completed remotely, you may be required to attend in-person meetings or training sessions as necessary. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient schedules, ensuring you can effectively respond to the needs of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify each patient's history and tailor treatment approaches that promote recovery.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience in patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to create impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space where patients can process their experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integrated care.

• Offer crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to provide immediate support to individuals in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma effects and available coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in alignment with both legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a relevant setting.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care principles, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills paired with a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, providing support in times of crisis.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with various computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
