Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to provide vital mental health services while maintaining flexibility in your work-life balance. As part of our outpatient program, you will engage with clients primarily through telehealth platforms. While you will primarily work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility in scheduling may be necessary based on the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and determine targeted therapeutic approaches.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans designed to support trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your therapeutic practice.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate client understanding of trauma, coping mechanisms, and emotional processing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver integrated and holistic care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and offer immediate support to clients in distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma-focused therapy through ongoing training and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a variety of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families affected by a spectrum of trauma-related disorders. This role is crucial in helping clients navigate their unique experiences of trauma and guiding them toward recovery and empowerment. Your compassionate and informed approach will be instrumental in establishing trust and rapport, essential for effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey is essential.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, ideally in a clinical setting focused on trauma.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experienced in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clients empathetically while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other technological tools necessary for effective practice.

• A collaborative spirit capable of functioning as part of a lively multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and a commitment to ongoing education in this evolving field. Individuals with specialized training or certification in EMDR or TF-CBT will be particularly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits\n
